I was born and raised in Southern California and began creating works of art at an early age. Painting, drawing, fiber arts and jewelry making are just a few of the outlets I enjoy to express my creativity in the fine arts. I am a former martial artist, having studied a variety of diciplines, and find there are quite a number of similarities bewteen these two distinct art forms. Both types of artists have the ability to express themselves in either positive or negative ways and this becomes their foundation for how their art is interpreted. I have a fondness for animals, nature, historic structures (especially castles), the entertainment industry (I enjoy watching TV, going to the movies and previously enjoyed working on a few productions as a background artist), and interesting people. My hair is the subject of many conversations that get started with new people I meet, and for those that may be as curious it is about six feet long and has not been trimmed for quite some time. My plan is to have the braid touch the ground, then maybe I will see just how long it can grow...
